Illuminating Company Plans Localized Power Outage on September 16

On Tuesday, September 16, the Illuminating Company has planned a power outage to trim or remove trees. The outage will affect customers in the vicinity of W. 210 and W. 211 Streets north of Lorain Road.
Second Phase of 2014 Street Program Begins September 8

The second and final phase of this year's Street Program is set up begin next week. Phase II streets being reconditioned and resurfaced include West 208 Street and Eastwood Avenue east of West 210 Street.
Clutter Buster Recycling Event Returns Saturday, September 20

The City of Fairview Park is hosting its next Clutter Buster Recycling Event on Saturday, September 20. From 9 AM to 12 PM, residents can shred their personal documents and recycle everything from old clothing to household construction material.
New, Fully Accessible Playground Now Open at Morton Park

This week saw the completion of the new playground at Morton Park. This play area fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, meaning all children will be able to enjoy it, including those with physical disabilities.

Public Meeting for Cuyahoga County Grant to be Held August 25

The City of Fairview Park is eligible to apply for the 2015 Cuyahoga County Municipal Grant Program, which offers up to $150,000 in federal funds for community and economic development projects. A public session to discuss this grant will be held on August 25.
