City Hall Parking Lot Resurfacing

LEGAL NOTICE: Sealed bids for the City Hall Parking Lot Resurfacing will be received by the City of Fairview Park, Cuyahoga County, Ohio in the office of the Mayor, Fairview Park Municipal Building, 20777 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, Ohio 44126 until 12:00 noon, August 9, 2017 and then publicly opened and read aloud. All proposals shall be sealed and endorsed “City Hall Parking Lot Resurfacing”.

Plans, specifications, bid forms, and contract documents may be examined at the office of the City Engineer, Mackay Engineering and Surveying Company, 7017 Pearl Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio, 44130. Copies may be obtained upon payment of a fee of $125.00 (one hundred twenty-five dollars) for each set of plans and specifications. Checks are to be made payable to Mackay Engineering. The fee is non-refundable. The Engineer’s estimate for this project is $225,000.00. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Contractors shall be required to pay prevailing wages on this contract in accordance with Section 4115.03 – 4115.06 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bid must contain the full name of every person, persons, or company interested in same and be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid drawn in favor of the City of Fairview Park, or a certified check or cashier’s check or letter of credit on a solvent bank in Cuyahoga County, made payable to the City of Fairview Park in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid as prescribed in Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. The City of Fairview Park reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all proposals or to award a contract which in its judgment is in the best interest of the City of Fairview Park, Ohio.
