Just Add Water II is a hub for scuba diving resources, from equipment to training to travel. The Fairview Park location at 22641 Lorain Road is the second Just Add Water store. The original in Willoughby has been around for over 20 years.

The official grand opening of Valley Tavern was held Saturday, May 9. Valley Tavern is a neighborhood-centric gathering place where you can eat, drink, and be merry with your neighbors. Valley Tavern is located at 19367 Lorain Road, formerly Ace’s CafĂ©.

Nate’s Deli at 22098 Lorain Road is under new management. New owner Rudy George intends to maintain the same delicious menu at Nate’s, though its Mediterranean flair will be enhanced with a few new options.

The office buildings at 21000 Brookpark Road (formerly NASA 500 and 501) have been fully transitioned to an independent electrical grid. These buildings were formerly tied into the grid servicing NASA Glenn Research Center. This is a positive and significant step toward making the buildings self-sustaining.

Loving Cup Kids Academy of Fairview Park, 22985 Lorain Road, will join thousands of pre-schools, daycares, and other groups across the country in sponsoring a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon event during the week of June 15 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Stamper’s Bar closed on May 31 after 17 years in business in Fairview Park. The City of Fairview Park is thankful for the business Jim and Mary Stamper brought into the City during its tenure.
