Virtual Sports Room:
You have been waiting for it. You have been hearing the rumors. Now come and experience what everyone has been waiting for… Fairview Park's very own Golf Simulator! The simulator will be open to members, residents, and non-residents. Reservations for the golf simulator will be taken at the front desk. Patrons must call ahead to reserve their spot, no drop-ins allowed. Reservations are taken solely on 1 hour intervals. Members/Residents pay a fee of $10.00 per 9 holes and Non-Residents pay $15.00 per 9 holes. No foursomes allowed only two person teams allowed. For more information please contact Kevin M. Puppy / Beginner Dog Training Course:
An Introductory training class for puppies less than six months old and dogs six months and older. Basic obedience will be taught, including sit, stay, down, come and basic good manners. Socialization with people and other dogs will be an integral part of the class. Housebreaking basics and health, grooming and nutrition tips are taught. Intermediate Dog Training Course:
While basic obedience training focuses on behaviors necessary for in-home skills, Intermediate training focuses on those skills necessary for success in the community environment. Training involves dealing with common distractions seen in public, from meeting strangers and other dogs, to dealing in crowded areas and noisy places. Sessions focus on exercises in public settings in which the dog is exposed to common distractions. All pet owners must produce proof of current vaccinations for their pet at the first class. Women’s Fall Volleyball League: Blank Team Roster
Fall volleyball makes exercise fun and serves as a great “night out with the girls”. Registration will begin on Monday, June 14 and run through Friday, August 13, or until the league is full. Games will be played on Friday evenings. Their will be a maximum of eight (8) teams enrolled in this year’s women’s league. Their will be an eight (8) week regular season followed by a single elimination tournament. The league will fill on first come, first pay basis. Payment is due at the time of registration. The Fairview Park Recreation Department is organizing a fun but competitive volleyball league and we want you to experience the difference. Their will be a competitive and recreational division with games being played on Thursday evenings. There is a maximum of 16 teams; 8 in the upper division and 8 in the lower division. Registration begins on Monday, June 14 and will conclude Friday, August 13 or until each league is full. Registration is taken on a first come, first pay basis. Men’s Open Height Basketball League: Blank Team Roster
Our Men’s Open Height Basketball League offers a variety of benefits: there is friendly competition, fall fitness, and a social outlet to rid you of those cold fall afternoons. League runs on Sunday afternoons, with game times beginning at 2:00pm. League entry fee is $175 per team. Your entry fee covers site supervisor, scorekeepers, and league awards. Officials will be paid onsite during season. Official fee is $26 and will be paid by each team each week. This year’s league will consist of 12 teams, with games starting at 2:00pm. The league will run for eight (8) weeks with a single elimination tournament at the conclusion of the season. For league information please click on the men's open height basketball league header.
