UPDATE JULY 2, 2015: The engineering study and cost estimates have been completed for Mastick Road and are currently being evaluated by the Cuyahoga County Public Works Department. The City expects work on the project to begin mid-July. Once work commences, Mastick Road will be closed to all traffic in both directions.

UPDATE JUNE 16, 2015: Mastick Road between West 210 Street and Eaton Road is closed until further notice. The roadway abutment has begun to deteriorate and a void under the eastbound lane has developed. The prescribed detour is Valley Parkway/Wooster Road hill to Lorain Road.

The engineering and design for emergency repairs to the abutment and roadway are in progress and will be completed soon. Test borings have been completed and we anticipate construction to begin in late June or early July. The total completion of the project is anticipated to take 8-12 weeks.

We appreciate your patience during this emergency repair condition and if at all possible, please use alternative routes to avoid Mastick Road until the roadway is completely restored.
