American Legion Post 738 and the City of Fairview Park invite all Veterans, Civic Organizations, Churches and School Groups to march in our annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29th 2017.

We march to remember and honor those who lost their lives and made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country, those who are actively serving and those who have already served.

Below is the list of events scheduled for that day:

8:00 am – We Do Care Observance in City Hall at 20777 Lorain Road.

8:30 am – Line up for Parade behind Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home at 20802 Lorain Road

9 am – Parade starts at West 208th Street & Lorain Rd marching east to the Fairview Park Cemetery located between 196th and South Valley Dr on Lorain Rd.

Conclusion of the Parade – American Legion Post 738 Ceremony with the Fairview High School Marching Band, at Fairview Park Cemetery (Between 196th and South Valley Drive on Lorain Rd)

Closing Ceremonies and Open House – Remembrance of the fallen of American Legion Post 738 and Open House at American Legion Post 738 at 19311 Lorain Road.

We invite all residents to come out to this year’s parade, attend the opening and closing ceremonies, and to bring their lawn chairs and sit along the parade route to show their support for veterans and troops currently serving – show us your red, white and blue!
