FRESHEN UP FAIRVIEW PARK 2014
Freshen Up Fairview Park is an annual community clean-up event hosted by the Fairview Park Green Team. This special event brings together residents, community organizations, and businesses to beautify Fairview Park and make the community more attractive for residents and visitors. Volunteers will spend a few hours of their morning picking up litter and brush, raking, weeding, and more at one of several project sites across Fairview Park.
In 2014, Freshen Up Fairview Park will take place Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at Fairview Park City Hall, 20777 Lorain Road. Project assignments will be provided at that time. Project sites will include the Fairview Park Cemetery, Bain Park, Bohlken Park, and more. Participants will also be provided with a small snack, juice, and water.
Supplies will be provided to volunteers based on availability. To ensure adequate supplies, willing volunteers are asked to bring their own tools and supplies, particularly cloth gloves, rakes, and small gardening utensils. Volunteers will be responsible for their belongings.
Pre-registration for Freshen Up Fairview Park is not required. Feel free to just show up! However, the Green Team does ask that any group interested in participating confirm their attendance and number of volunteers by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If any resident is unable to participate in Freshen Up Fairview Park, the Green Team asks him or her to consider freshening up their own property instead. This will help spread the effect of Freshen Up Fairview Park across the community.
The Green Team can be contacted at email@example.com. Please reach out to us with your questions and project suggestions.
