Memorial Day Observance at City Hall, 2013

On Memorial Day, May 25, We Do Care will hold its annual observance in the rotunda at City Hall at 8:00 am.

Following the ceremony, at approximately 9:00 am, the annual parade will step off from Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home at West 208 Street and Lorain Road. The parade, led by the American Legion Post 738 Color Guard, will guide all to the Fairview Park Cemetery where the Legion will honor all veterans.

An open house at the American Legion Hall on Lorain Road follows the ceremony. All are welcome to enjoy an old-fashioned cookout. If you have any questions, please call 440-356-4450.

Also that morning, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Fairview Park Music Association will host a Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast in the cafeteria of Fairview High School, 4507 W. 213 Street. The cost is $7.00 per person for pancakes and sausage, juices, tea and coffee. You may also select a banana foster type topping and/or maple syrup. Music performances by The Scarlet Singers, Chamber Orchestra, and Jazz Band will take place throughout the morning.
