On behalf of the City Administration, City Council, and all of the wonderful people in Fairview Park, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our fine city. I know you will enjoy living in our community. We think your decision to live in Fairview Park is a choice you will always be happy you made.
Available at the bottom of this page are a number of resources containing information I believe is important for new residents to know. Please take the time to review these materials as they can answer a number of questions you may have as a new Fairview Park homeowner. I also encourage you to skim our city website, sign up for our city’s monthly e-newsletter, and connect with the City of Fairview Park via social media. These are all additional sources of information for you on city services, community organizations, and events and activities taking place in our city.
As your Mayor, I would like to invite you to City Hall, located at 20777 Lorain Road, the home of our administrative offices as well as the Police, Fire, Building and Service Departments. Our highly regarded Senior Center is located directly behind City Hall too.
I am sure you have already noticed the exceptional recreational facilities in place for your convenience, including Bohlken, Bain, and Morton Parks. You will find our Gemini Community and Recreation Center, home of the city’s Recreation Department at 21225 Lorain Road. This beautiful building, located in the heart of our city, includes both a competition-sized pool and leisure pool, an outdoor splash park, running track, exercise equipment, community rooms and much more. You will find the Recreation Center next door to our popular Fairview Park Branch of the Cuyahoga County Library.
City Council meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall. I encourage all of our citizens to attend and become part of our city government.
Again, welcome to our community and if I can be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to call me at 440-356-4411.
Eileen Ann Patton, Mayor
