Fairview Park Residents and Community Members:

During the early morning hours of March 8, 2016, Fairview Park Police, with the assistance of Rocky River Police Department, arrested a male who is suspected of breaking into several unlocked vehicles. When he was arrested, he had over $1,300 worth of property that we believe was taken from these cars. He was originally spotted by an alert resident in the 4200 block of West 212 Street, but may have been in other neighborhoods throughout the night.

If you or someone you know had their vehicle entered during the late night hours of March 7 thru the early morning of March 8, and are missing items, please contact the Fairview Park Police at 440-356-4415 to make a report and to see if we have recovered your items.

I wish to thank the residents who took the time to call in the suspicious activity and pass on information about the suspect while we were searching for him. I would also like to thank Rocky River Police Department for their assistance, not only in this incident, but many others where our teamwork resulted in the apprehension of criminal suspects.

Sincerely,
Chief Erich Upperman
