The Fairview Park Police Department offers several programs to increase the community’s awareness and understanding of police operations. Requests for information on any of these programs may be obtained by calling the Police Department at 440-356-4415.

Request a Speaker

The Police Department receives many requests for speakers on police-related subjects from community groups, scouts, residents, businesses, church groups, and schools. All requests are acted on immediately, and personnel who specialize in the subject matter are assigned to speak.

Ride Alongs

The Police Department offers interested individuals the opportunity to accompany a police officer in the field to observe the patrol activities of the City of Fairview Park. This program is offered to better familiarize citizens and students with the law enforcement function.

Anyone 18 years of age or older may be permitted to participate in a ride along at the discretion of the Police Department. Requests from individuals under the age of 18 will be considered so long as permission is provided by a parent or guardian.

Station Tours

Station tours are conducted weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. by qualified personnel. All tours must be scheduled in advance. Civic groups, students, parents and out-of-town visitors are always welcome.
